A best friend's younger sister is always a winner for me, although I'm maybe remembering the crushes I had on my brother’s friend's back in the day and being just a little biased, lol!?
I really enjoyed Bax's take charge, alpha personality although there were times he was extreme and I'd have had to make more of a stand, personally.
There is no doubt about his feelings for Olivia and he shows it it so many ways. Olivia also has big feelings really quickly but treads a bit more lightly as she comes to terms with how quickly these have developed.
Until Bax is an enjoyable addition to the 'Until' series featuring another member of the much extended Mayson family and I can't wait to find out just who will be next.

Oh Bax and Olivia are such perfection together! Until Bax is the first book in this series I’ve read (and it can be read as a stand alone just fine) but I’ve made it my 2025 goal to go back and read the other 18 in the series because I need alllllll the tea on these characters!!!! (And all the BOOMS!)
Aurora has the romantic suspense genre down to a perfect science! Her spice is steamy perfection, the banter is top tier and the characters in her books? I want to be besties with the FMCs and those MMCs are such sweet perfection. I read this book in one day because I could not put it down.
Now, the suspense. Throughout the book I was so sure I knew who was to blame and how it would end up. I was so wrong! The last few chapters had me on the edge of my seat. Absolutely loved it all so much.

Bax and Olivia’s story had me intrigued from the moment they reconnect and I was excited to see this reformed playboy fall hard, but even though these two are meant to be something just was missing. Bax is incredible as he helps Oli out when she runs into trouble after trouble while moving back home. He is overly helpful and dropping everything to be there for her and you know he feels something for her, but since she’s his best friend’s little sister he tries to fight it as long as he can. For me all the mysteries and issues that continued to happen to Olivia just weren’t adding up because it felt as if there were possibly multiple people out to get her and things with Julie were almost leading up to it being her then she’s just gone, her roommate Kourtney is odd and seems to throw shade at her other friend which made me suspicious of her as well and not sure how things went for her at the end. I still had some questions about the events that happened and while I loved Bax and Oli together the drama and underwhelming person of interest kind of overshadowed what could have been their epic story, but overall I loved them.
This was such a fun, sweet romance with a little bit of suspense added in. I loved how the older brother's best friend trope was used. Olivia and Bax were adorable together. I also loved the Rebecca/Liam thing that seemed to be going on a bit and loved being able to read about them in the extended bonus content. I really wanted a full book about them to go along with this one.

There was some added drama in terms on the fmc being harassed by an unknown character. Her car was ruined, the house she was saying in was broken into. There were easy vibes.
How Bax was immediately protective of her made me swoon!! And how he braved a fear of heights for Olivia made me die.
Olivia, while I like her, I thought she was quick to judge Bax in one scene.
While their chemistry was strong from the get go, it wasn't until over 55% of the book is when spice happens!.
