Took way too long to finish this bc the first third of the book is lowkey a slog. Glad to see it come to such a logical conclusion and as such I now think all books should end with incest!

Phew! This one was a bit of a doozy. It felt long and I wish some repetitive things had been cut. There were also so many plots and schemes and mythical pondering, I again had to seek out a recap/explainer after finishing to make sure I understood what the heck happened. But I remain in awe of Herbert’s work and this universe he created that contains this incredible world and wild characters!
