Bad bad bad bad bad. The premise of this book could’ve made a really good story and great read but the writing is sloppy and the story telling is choppy. I also got major second hand embarrassment anytime Tessa tried to “investigate” the blackthorn society and ask people about it. She was not sly and so the fact she was surprised someone knew she was investigating the society and attacked her was insane.
