I started this because I thought it was dark academia, but only the beginning really was “academia,” the rest of the time is Tessa running around trying to figure out the truth behind her sister’s death. She seems a little dense sometimes? I found it a bit unbelievable that a self proclaimed mediocre student could work hard for such a short amount of time and make it into Oxford on a full scholarship, no less. I did like how Saint was able to look past his hurt of being used and decide to help Tessa.
