I haven't read all the shorts in this anthology, but if The Cabin Between Us by Dani Rene is anything to judge by then the book is going to be fabulous. Dani's contribution is a short story about Calandra and Kolton. It's a super short, captivating read with interesting characters and a story that at times is heartbreaking and steamy. It's a second chance romance that hit all the right notes. The only thing I didn't love is that it ended because leaving them was harder than I thought it would be.

I love these short story anthologies!
I have only read The Cabin Between Us by Dani Rene and it was spectacular!
This story was a delectable and tantalizing taste of a past love that ended too soon and a reminder of forgiveness.
I can't wait to read the rest of these stories!

Patricia D. Eddy's Her Mafioso's Honor - A great short story about instant attraction and overcoming obstacles. When Damian saves Evelyn from being killed by his uncle, not only does he save the girl but makes a name for himself in the family business. High energy and loads of emotion - this was a great story.

This book is full of short stories by fantastic authors some I knew before and some are new to me and I have fallen in love with. There are a lot of short stories and some I have not got to yet, but I definitely plan to, so here are my reviews on the stories I have read so far:
Her Mafioso’s Honor by Patricia Eddy:
In this story we are instantly introduced to Evelyn who has been captured by some mafia guys. She is treated horribly but she is strong and can hold her own. Damian is the nephew to the current mafia boss who thinks it is horrible the way his uncle has ran the family into the ground so he is out to right the wrongs and he starts by saving Evelyn from an even worse fate. At first Evelyn is very skeptical a guy like Damian wants to help her and cares for her well being but their attraction is undeniable. The story is a short one, but I loved it so much and enjoyed the characters. A fast paced intense read with an incredible alpha and tough as nails heroine.

Real by Magan Vernon:
In this cute read we get to see the banter between two individuals who entertained me and made me laugh. Wren is starting a paper for her English class and starts to email her professor so she can get a few things approved but the TA answers to response. This TA comes off as abrupt, kind of mean, but she does not know it is not her professor but instead his TA, Wolf the school bad boy. Wolf is smart and knows what he likes, and he knows his stuff when it comes to the class he works for. Their back and forth arguing is so good that you know they love to get a rise out of each other but know it may be kind of forbidden. I loved Wolf and the way he was straight forward with Wren. I also how Wren could give back as good as he could and that they were so attracted to each other just by arguing.

The Cabin Between Us by Dani Rene:
This story was cute, and it followed Calandra who left her hometown to try and make it in Hollywood, but we find out when she left town she left behind her heart. She is returning because her mother has decided to sell their cabin but she has so many memories there it’s hard for her to see it go, but when she gets home Kolton her heart and soul at one point is there. Kolton let the love of his life go but now he has a plan to make up for lost time.

There is a great mix of short stories in this collection, some you will love more than others but the fact there is something for everyone is fantastic.
I thoroughly enjoyed Prince of Seattle by Fiona Archer as it is a bit of a second chance older and wiser story and links into the Sons of Sydney series with Adam Justice. Kayla and Gabriel have a past and none of it good due to loss and humiliation and due to a chance meeting thanks to Adam it turns out now is the time to address the past and see what the future holds. This book makes me want to go back and read the first two books available in the Sons of Sydney series again!

Lovely collection of short stories by a multitude of authors. I only read it for Zoey Ellis A Royal Harmony. A short and sweet omegaverse story about a young girl who believes herself less than royalty and how chemistry is really all that matters. I’m not a huge fan of anthologies but I’d honestly read anything by this author!

Marooned by A.D. Justice

This title caught my eye because I just finished a Shay Savage series about two people Marooned so I gave it a chance. For a short story it was a quick but fun read about a couple who make a startling discovery about their relationship when caught up in a deadly storm. Four stars.

I’m always giddy for these anthologies!

My review is for “A Royal Harmony” by Zoey Ellis.

I adored it. I was curious as to the origin behind The Beholden Duet and I finally got to read about it! It was fast, passionate and best of all, very alpha. The only downside to this is that I wished it was longer so I could read more about the couple!

*I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

My Review

I read Zoey Ellis’s contribution it’s set in the beholden duet world.
It features King Allandis and princess Elyanna
and how they first met.
It was a short but very satisfying omegaverse read that had heat and no angst.
It was a quick but still very enjoyable foray into that world almost a glimpse behind the curtain if you will.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of A Royal Harmony.

I only read the short by Fiona Archer (Prince Of Seattle).

This was a great introduction to new characters, and fun to see some old favourites from her Sons of Sydney series.

It is hard with a short story ~5000 words to find that balance between the story being everything insta, and having a tale to tell. Ms Archer did this very well, giving us just enough that when we get full length books later on, we will know a little about these characters.

I can' wait to see what 2021 brings us from this author

Loving these short stories!!

I am enjoying these short stories!

The first one I read was The Cabin Between Us since I had an ARC of this. It was four chapters long, but still had a depth to it, it left me wanting to get to know this couple even more.

Now I have the book, I am now reading Marooned - A.D Justice the first story but I will be back to review the others. Enjoyed that too. :)

I am not into Paranormal but The Wolf's Desire by Asa Maria Bradley, is a page turner. I want to know more about Magnus!!

Reasons I enjoyed this book:

Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Page-turner, Romantic, Wonderful characters
