I still prefer Kathy Reichs's YA series to her other books. She really IS "Bones" and is a bit over my head with her regular books. I'm right on her young adult level :-) Wish I'd read through the previous one, though; I kept trying to remember what happened to make them so upset with their friend and other Viral. The downside of reading a series where all the books haven't been published yet (story of my life!).

I love this series. I did find the first part of this one a little less exciting than the rest at the start. Took me a bit longer to be captured by the story line. I still like the hook that comes out of left field to the suspect and the suspense leading up to it.
