I thought her first two books were more helpful for me. If you have an ounce of common sense, you have probably already put a lot of her advice into practice making sure that your family doesn’t collapse under the weight of organizing itself. But if you find yourself really struggling to manage things and actually make decisions without freaking out / not being introspective enough to tell whether it was a good decision, the tools in this book will be helpful for you. Sometimes it really is useful to step back and ask yourself simply, what is the question I am really asking here? What’s my goal? We can lose sight of that big stuff in the rush of trying to make decisions so we can get through the day.

Love the Emily Oster books - always informative and gives room for the reader to take in information and make his/her own choices
