This was a very fun book to read. It was a bit like reading Nancy Drew, only now in a supernatural world, where you have physics, monsters and more!

And of course it has more romance.

It was a quite book, Daisy was a really great character, and I was cheering for her a lot. While the world might be pretty much supernatural, the kids are really just normal behaving ones, they have their ups and downs, you got the evil (well kinda) cheerleader squad, they insecure and have their worries.

I really loved Ryan and Daisy, how they got
Spoilertogether, they are such a cute couple
. They also make a good team for spying/sleuthing.

I also liked that the vampire in this book
Spoiler wasn't of the bloodsucking kind, but the soul-sucking kind.
It was really refreshing.

Daisy's sisters were OK, but kind of annoying, especially Poppy. Being mean to someone because they are a norm, is just stupid, but being mean to your sister because she is a norm... no just no. :\

In overall, I would recommend this book to everyone who likes the supernatural, likes romance and loves a cool girl who kicks ass.

This was a silly young-reader I picked up for entertainment in between some hard-core study sessions. As prose, it leaves a lot to be desired. Exposition is delivered at break-neck speeds and plot holes abound. But since this is young adult fiction, I was willing to let a lot of that go. The author seemed to be deliberately dropping clues to let the reader play detective, but was un-artful about it. I was exactly 16% of the way through when I figured out who the bad guy was and what they were doing. I think I had seen the same plot on an episode of Smallville.

I love quirky names and this story delivers (for example, Mort Bone, the funeral home guy). There are plenty of fantastic magical antics reminiscent of a Disney channel show or old-school Nickelodeon. People who enjoy weirds-ville mysteries like those in Roswell or Eureka may like this book series.

"I didn't let go until I finished the whole book in just two hours."

I definitely enjoyed this book! I started reading the series four years ago when I saw this first book in a booksale. I thought maybe I give this a try, the prologue astonished me and when I read the first chapter I didn't take it down. It was addicting. I can imagine what the author wants me to imagine. Surely, it is a very good series! I only have two out of eight books.

I thought this book was something awesome to read. It is really cool and I recommend it to anyone who likes to read about stuff that are out of the ordinary stuff that don't usually happen.
I loved this book and want to continue to read the rest of the series

The title fits well and this book really made me a little suspicious and had a little bit of suspense. I loved it because at part I didn't want to put it down because it was something interesting to read. I also love to read and I am a passionate reader so I thought this book was a pretty book.

Wow got 20 pages in and said screw this. It jumped around so much I had no idea what was going on or why? Won't ever pick that up again. That's one series scratched of my list.

I read this without having high expectations, but it was more pleasant than I thought. Nothing deep here, but for a dip into the paranormal pool with a touch of romance and a dash of teenage angst, it was great.
