I think the only thing that I really thoroughly enjoyed about this book was Oliver’s point of view most of the time. Other then that, this book didn’t do it for me. This is a Friends to lovers romance book that for 40% of the book there is no romance, just the friends. Which is fine, if this book is longer, but then the romance wasn’t enough for me. I felt very disconnected to the writing style and the steam felt so dispassionate.

There aren't words for this story. It's phenomenal. I laughed, I cried, I was angry. It puts you through all the emotions. This book is beyond what I expected. I'm getting tears just thinking about it. It's about loss, and grief, it's about finding yourself and finding love. It's about accepting the bad without drowning in it. I am NOT okay after reading this book.

I cant even begin to describe in words how phenomenal this book is. After 72 books, this year this one has become my favorite by a landslide. I've always been a sucker for a story with a musician which is what originally brought me in but man this book was so much deeper than just that. I didn't expect it to hit me as hard as it did. Tears of sadness, happiness, love and personal connection ran down my face multiple times throughout this book. So worth the read!
