i went into this book not believing i would like it. i know what i enjoy and i stick with it religiously. reading this felt like learning to love reading all over again. learning to love my home, my family, my lungs. Elizabeth Acevedo has a gorgeous way with words and i will be reading her other works.

LOVVEEEEEDDD it and read it in a day. I love Elizabeth Acevedos books and that she writes them in verse. The characters were so alive
