The book starts strong.
I really like the MC in the first 25% of the book. And then I just didn't.
The world building starts amazing, made me hope for so much more. And in the end it was just.. meh? We barely learn anything about the "human world" and even less about the Fae world.
Stuff is mentioned but not explained at all.

I did finish the series because until the end I was hoping it would get better.
You follow Dhalia for 4 books and you could just remove some of the side characters and no one would notice. Barely any personality, barel any involvement. There are just there. But Dhalia is doing all the work, making all the decisions. Its just basically her and no one else.

Characters: Dalia, Gullie, Mira, Cilian, Three Mothers: Helen, Evie, Pepper

The book is perfectly fine, it just didn’t blow my mind completely. It is written alright, there are a few jokes in this book that made me chuckle.

Dalia is taken to participate in a trial and the winner gets to marry the prince. But Dalia doesn’t have any skills other than sewing, or does she?

No spice of worth and unnecessary cliffhangers.

Super fun and entertaining but nothing that made me feel like it was special. I didn’t connect to the prince at all. I love the main character and the concept certainly kept me interested. I’m looking forward to see how to the other books continue the story!

Pretty well written and entertaining read. I was surprised how invested I got into the story. A good choice for ya fantasy readers into Fae or looking for a new series to start.

Interesting and unique! Dressmaker gets taken by Fae to enter a contest for the Princes hand in marriage. Her talents keep her barely alive in book one! I’m definitely reading more!
