This was totally a read because I fell in love with the cover but damn the author has a way with words.
I fell into this world and enjoyed every minute of it. The world is built really nicely, characters are intriguing. MC is trying to figure out why she was chosen (without getting too spoilery)
I really enjoyed the descriptions the author writes. I will be binging the rest of the series (yay audiobooks and working!!)
The bachelor/ the selection mets the Fae world in an explosive fight to survive and gain honour and the prince's hand.

Interest slightly peaked not officially sold
Dahlia sure has a knack for asking and doing stupid things. I guess now we're almost certain that she's not entirely human and the scent the Prince smelled may not have been of Gullie. As the main character I expect her to win but I'm I'm hoping this is not an undercover Selection series book because that was the worse and totally uncalled for.

Sometimes I read a book, and I'm like I want to like it more I really do, but I didn't feel anything for the characters. Although I like a magically bachelor's contest in theory, it was kind of boring to read.
