It's been so long since I read this part in the original webtoon that it almost felt like I was reading everything anew. It was great!
This volume contains the beginning of prom and Amy's slow and steady pursuit of the truth. However, we also find out about a suspicious organization that seems to have it out for Amy's friends. Oliver also shows up again - I didn't notice until now, but for being the person the series is named after, Oliver doesn't have that many appearances.
I like his character a lot and especially appreciate the reminder how much he already does for Amy! The relationship between the two of them is only in its very beginning and it will take much longer to really develop. That is such a nice change from shorter YA series! And I can be patient.
I still absolutely recommend this series to everyone. It has elements of mystery and also makes a good point about friendships. It's lovely!

This is such a fun series. It's cute and handles difficult subjects, it's inclusive, and the artwork is amazing. I highly recommend it to everyone, and you can probably read all 8 in a couple of days.
Now I anxiously await volume 9!

Though the characters in this series are high schoolers, it's perfectly appropriate for middle grade, and enjoyable to adults as well. I continue loving the story of seemingly average high-schooler Amy, and the mysterious and alien Oliver, as well as the cast of friends and family that swirl around them.

The plot of this series is awesome, I've never seen a book like it. But the characters are just so stereotypical and shallow. Mostly Amy. I'll keep reading the series, but the characters always get on my nerves on how stereotypical they are. Also, they are in the 34th century- WHY do they still have cars and things like that? It would make more sense if the year was 2100, or somewhere near that time.
