Hugely topical book in these days of politicians and others in power being called out for unacceptable sexual aggression, and finally facing the consequences. This story was told from the perspective of the politician in question's wife, the prosecutor, and the politician. The first two being the primary narrators. There were elements of the thriller genre, but the events in this story were far too realistic and also frequent in our society... Though the subject was difficult, the book was good and i enjoyed reading it.

This was a mostly forgettable read for me
I wasn't a big fan of the writing, it felt unrealisitic and dated and snobbish to me. I did enjoy the descriptions of Oxford however, and sparked an interest in dark academia, which I'm hoping to read more of soon.
