This is one of those books that I am glad I stuck with. It was slow moving which almost had me wanting to stop reading but then it became clear the game that the author was playing. She carefully only diverged a tiny bit of information at a time meticulously unwrapping each character one layer at a time.

Много слаба книга. Не ми харесаха нито сюжета, нито героите. Нямаше никаква тръпка. Всичко беше ясно от самото начало. Имаше един малък twist иии ами нищо особено.

Really interesting perspectives and takes on a he said, she said case in the media.
fast-paced

British courtroom drama about a politician accused of rape. Strong characterizations of the avenging prosecutor and the wronged wife coming to terms with the truth.

Really enjoyed this, love a good courtroom drama. My verdict changed so often throughout the book and whilst this isn’t a book of twists and turns I did find my self surprised in certain areas, is all I’ll say.

this book took me so long to get through. the plot itself was interesting, i just felt it took forever to get to it. i honestly wanted to stop reading it but forced myself to stick it out. i was glad when a sliver of the plot started to actually show, it just felt extremely dragged out and slow. i found myself skipping paragraphs. if the show wasn’t on netflix i would’ve stopped beforehand.
