I can't say I hated this book, but I disliked it extremely at times. The characters seemed unreal and wooden. It was difficult to like or feel anything for them. Do prostitutes and pimps behave like the ones portrayed here? I don't know. Maybe they do.
The female protagonist was very annoying and I wanted to slap her every time she said "you bet".
This was supposed to be a murder mystery but it was confusing to me and I'm not sure what actually happened in the end.
This one just wasn't for me.
