I loved the first book and was very dubious about the second but it was incredible! I really liked the pacing and tone throughout the novel. The characterisation is just top-notch and I want to marry Pip (and maybe put her through some therapy). Plot twists galore in this book so be ready for that... The only thing I didn't love was how the book just launched straight into the action without explaining who Connor and Jamie were to Pip as that did confuse me at the beginning. However, overall, I absolutely love this book and cannot wait for the next instalment into the series.
Graphic: Death, Gun violence, Rape, Violence, and Murder
Moderate: Fire/Fire injury
Minor: Medical content and Toxic friendship

Pip released season 1 of her podcast, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, which outlined every detail of the Andie Bell case and her experience solving Andie’s murder. It did amazing and people are begging for another season, but Pip promised herself (and her parents), that she was done with that part of her life. Solving the Bell case not only put her in immense danger, but she became obsessive.
But what can she do when her best friend, Connor knocks on her door begging her to help find his missing brother? How can she say no when the police are unwilling to help?
This was such a great book. I cannot wait to read book 3.
