Emily and Wendell head into Wendell’s home realm to take their place as faerie monarchs. There are some expected and some unexpected challenges, most of which revolve around Wendell’s stepmother. It’s a charming story, never too dark, a worthy ending to the series, although I don’t think it’s quite as good as the first two.

Kinda a week ending for the book.

Would have been stronger to end with Wendell coming back to life and expanding the journey instead of adding another side quest
