Two FBI agents at loggerheads work together to catch a serial killer. Zane is serious and stoic while Ty is a cocky firecannon. It's an immediate clash, with bickering and sexual tension. They're flawed and endearing assholes, and I enjoyed them individually and together. Their draw to each other feels inevitable, from their tentative friendship to their intense, volatile yet sweet romance. 

Loved the tender moments where they show their hidden layers, especially Ty and his vulnerabilities. Ty's also there for Zane and his issues. But I didn't like

the forced separation, where they both slept with other people (off page), even if it's technically not cheating as they're not a couple - it's not something I like in my romances, to be honest

. The suspense is a bit wild, incredulous and slow moving at times, but fun enough. This >!ends HFN-ish!< with their story to continue.
