King says this wasn't the best ending... but it was the just the way the story ended. I think he's right on both counts...

He also says it was more about the journey then the destination. This was a journey for sure, and it was one worth taking.

A worthy end to a worthy summer reading project.

I enjoyed all the books in this series except the wizard and glass, but the ending felt a bit incomplete to me. I wanted more of an ending for Roland about what actually happens to him in the dark tower and also a ending for Patrick. Other than those complaints this series was a great read and i will miss it.
