Was this bad? No. Was it for me? Also seems like no. I did think this was pretty funny overall (legitimately laughed out loud) and I liked the disability rep and how Red responded to Chloe's disability. But I really hated the third act conflict and the miscommunication -- I suppose it was realistic for the plot that had been set up, but I really just found myself disappointed when I stumbled upon it. And the chapters felt SO LONG but somehow this book still felt insta-love-y to me? Also, there was some metaphor pretty early on in the book about being on death row and obviously I am still bothered by it. I'm extremely uncomfortable with its use in this book. I don't think we should be comparing anything happening to the main character of a rom com to the hell that people on death row endure.

All in all, I kind of get why people like and recommend this, but it wasn't for me. Unsure if I'll continue the series.
