While the disability rep was amazing, more than half of the book is about the characters thinking about smutty things, talking about smutty things and doing smutty things.

A lot of stuff felt so repetitive. Each time a new smut scene appeared it felt so similar to the last one. Not to mention some scenes had such a weird build up and many things were said in a rather weird way. One sentence in particular creeped me out and that's the moment I decided to not finish this book. It clearly is not meant for me.

What I loved:
- This was a true romantic comedy (emphasis on the comedy).
- Hibbert is a master of writing chemistry and spice. 🌶
- The protagonist’s struggle with fibromyalgia is written in a really authentic way, and I appreciated that the character was surrounded by supportive loved ones.

What didn't quite work for me:
- The pacing felt a little off. I felt like the enemies-to-lovers transition happened really quickly, and I would have loved to see their relationship evolve in a slower and more complex way.
- I also just wanted to see Chloe's other relationships developed out a bit more. It was clear that her sisters were an integral part of her life, but I felt like those relationships weren't given quite as much attention as they could have been.

Overall, I enjoyed this one & would happily read more of Talia Hibbert's books!

This was such a cute read, and I loved Chlo and Red.
Usually, I've read books with chronic illness, and they really just state how the mc is tired and not go into depth of the pain, and the other effects come into play. Talia did amazing describing how pain goes in your day to day life, and the feeling you get for feeling such pain especially how doctors don't really understand until you've told them 100,000 times. I know Chloe will stay my favorite. I can't wait to read the other Brown sisters stories !

Would have been 4 stars but I never quite recovered from the 3rd act breakup.
I’m not convinced she really should have forgiven him; he said some really hurtful things & the gifts felt like lovebombing.

fun and sexy, this book has loveable characters, great representation and romance, and handles its characters’ flaws and struggles with care. i must warn there is quite a bit of sex. besides that i highly recommend for cheeky romance lovers!

I loved this book! I found myself rooting for both of these characters and wanting things to work out for them. Of course hijinks ensue. The character development is thoughtful and wise. Very fun read!

I really really enjoyed this book! I was kicking and giggling and blushing through a large portion of this book.

I loved how fleshed out both the characters were, and both had backstories and valid reasons for their reactions, which made the conflict far more believable despite the fact that I don't particularly enjoy miscommunication and a third-act break up.

I thought the representation was great and really added depth to the story, though I haven't experienced the things represented in this book so take my review of this with a grain of salt - those who are being represented may have a more valid take on how good the representation actually is.

Talia Hibbert's writing style was fun and quirky and the banter was amazing. I really enjoyed her writing style, but I can see that it may not be for everyone.

The only very slight negative I had was that the MMC gave me a little bit of the ick at the start when he was (in my opinion) oversexualising the FMC when he barely knew her, but I think that's more of a me/personal preference thing.

I am definitely reading the rest of this series!

The Brown Sisters trilogy has been a trilogy that was on my list of book series to read for a while now. I finally got too a point where I can read the first book in this series and I absolutely adored it! I knew that I heard good things about this book but I never imagined that it would be this good! I will for sure be re reading this book possibly next year when I read all three of Talia's books in the same month!

The major thing I adored about this book and that felt so different about this romance then so many others was the main character. The main character is Chloe, a young woman who lives with a condition called Fibromyalgia. A condition that causes chronic pain, fatigue, and trouble sleeping. This condition is rarely talked about let alone written about so to have a main character live with this condition and show the struggles of it is so refreshing to see. Yet Chloe doesn't let this condition stop her from living an independent life which is such an admirable thing! This book also doesn't make a huge deal about Chloe's condition just showing it as a part of her life and showing her managing it her own way. A way that works for her. Chloe is a great character showing that she is organized, has a smart sense of humor, and can be a little closed off to people. Her faults are showcased just as much as her good parts, like her closed off type of personality and her rigidness to sticking to a certain system rather then stray away from it.

The romantic hero in this story is Redford Morgan, a red headed, kind, and caring man who will help anybody in need and give that person his shirt off his back if he has to. I never thought a romantic hero could be so sweet and amazing, his understanding for Chloe's condition and how he accommodates for it is something I wish all romantic partners could have! Not only is his personality shining but he has looks to match! He is written as being gorgeous and very attractive so Red has fit all the checkboxes for a perfect romantic male lead. Not only that but his romance with Chloe is so sweet and they both fit together so well! Red's kindness complements Chloe's stand offish nature very well! Red is also an artist with some trauma that he learns to deal with the more we read into the book. Both of them start to become better for themselves and for their partners sake, they both make each other better people and support each other through all of it! I loved seeing a realistic romance like this!

I highly recommend this book and am so happy that this book opened me up to a well written and realistic portrayal of romance! I can't wait to re read this book and read the other two books in this series, I look forward to seeing what Talia has in store for me next!
