While the Brown sisters have a lot in common — their undying adoration for Gigi, a lack of confidence in themselves, an annoying inability to communicate without situations going to shit first, a desire to be fucked hard — they have enough differences to make these books interesting. This is another enemies to lovers romance and Hibbert is the only author I’ve ever known to do the trope justice. Where other enemies to lovers stories seem contrived and forced, these seem to unfold in ways that are actually possible. The Brown sisters are fantastic and I can’t wait to read about Dani and complete this fun and fabulous trilogy.

I loved this book SO much! It was cute and a little spicy and had a disabled black woman as the main character (love the representation!). I think that Chloe’s disability was handled well in that it showed how much it affects her everyday life and also how she doesn’t necessarily want it to define her. The book is predictable, but it made me happy! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and more by this author!

Since this has such crazy hype surrounding it, I may have set my expectations a bit too high. The ending is what really saved for me. I still really enjoyed the story and I do still recommend for anyone  who enjoys romance.

Do I find the characters lovable? FUCK YES.

I loved this book so much, you have no idea. I literally just finished it and I'm hdjdjsugkjl. IT WAS SO GOOD. I LOVE CHLOE AND I LOVE RED.

I will edit this tomorrow so that I can explain just how much I loved it more clearly, bc right now it's 5 am in the morning and I need to sleep. I love Talia Hibbert <3

It started well. I love how they managed to touch on the characters flaws and developed them throughout the book. The setting is a little bit bland. I don't feel as excited. However, I still enjoy the book. I think both of them are so cute.

Ps. I realised that it's hard for me to enjoy contemporary romances that are not typically for young adults. I become so picky and I feel like I can't relate as much (although I'm an adult). This book makes me realised this.
