I picked this lovely board book up at the Harvard bookstore when I was pregnant for the first time. It’s now James’ favorite book and he grabs it and wants me to read it to him multiple times a day. I have the poem memorized by heart and it never tires.
Such a simple thing, but I love in one of the illustrations the mom’s toe is poking through her stockings.

Great choice for a diverse book collection. I didn't love it as much as Van Camp's "We Sang You Home", but this was still a lovely, beautifully illustrated book.

Indigenous parents tell a poem of love to their child in this touching board book. Crisp illustrations in Julie Flett’s signature collage style depict baby exploring the world while supported by their parents, who show their love in their expressions and actions. Large text and uncluttered images will appeal to little ones’ eyes. The cadence of the gentle rhymes make Little You a good bedtime read. Age 0+.

For: readers looking for a sweet book about the amazingness of a child.
