3.5 stars.

I like the polyamory aspect, and the guys handled it all well as they came together.

It was an enjoyable read, but the sex scenes blended together a lot in my mind, so I ended up skipping some to get to the story delevoping parts. Other than those making me lose concentration/interest, the story is probably a 4-star read.

Also, why did we have to wait so long for the Leo/Hudson conflict?

A beautiful, unconventional love story

Characters who suck you into their world and make you root for them. The perfect feel- good story for these uncertain times.

It was a decent read but only confirmed for me that my capacity for the number of dudes maxes out at three. Also, minus one star for so many dicks and no DP.

Four Letter Word was amazing!⁣

This book was so much more than I could have ever expected it to be. ⁣

KM Neuhold delivered more than just an MMMM romance, she delivered a story on the true dynamics of forging a polyamorous relationship. For each relationship built separate and together, she not only educated on the subject, she wrapped it in a beautiful love story. ⁣

Each character was exceptionally written. It’s difficult to choose who I loved most from this foursome. Bishop, Hudson, Riot, & Leo we’re all wonderful in their own personalities, their own struggles, and their own journey to each other. Overcoming preconceived perceptions, jealousy, insecurities & fear, these men show what it takes to grow and love another. ⁣

I never wanted to leave their world. I could keep reading them forever. Plus the bonus of our favorite character cameos from Rocket Science; Pax & Nerdlet. ⁣

5/5 Stars ⭐️ ⁣

Really good, educational, and sexy. This was my first read featuring 4 people in a relationship. Riot, our polyamorous guru/protagonist, explained all these new terms and lifestyles to us (the reader) in simple and sexy ways. I was mostly impressed with how much personality and sweet moments Neuhold was able to give us with 4 different protagonists who interact with each other in 4 different ways.

Bishop has been in love with his two best friends since puberty. But his besties hate each other and even if he has occasional sex with one of them he feels unworthy for plot reasons and doesn't want to get his heartbroken by entering a romantic relationship. So he keeps strictly in the fuck-buddy territory as unhappy as it makes him. Everything changes when he hooks up with Riot. This purple haired bartender introduces Bishop to the polyamorous scene and points out that his best buddies are totally in love with him. Bishop's springtime of love blossoms all at once in a crazy frenzy of outrageous lovey-doviness. I'm legit jealous of this fictional character for charming the pants off three different guys at once. Riot might have been the teacher of love at the start of things, but truly Bishop has become the master.

This story is so sweet and tender, but also full of banter and steam! It’s pretty slow paced but it’s a perfect fit since the characters need time to navigate their newly acknowledged feelings for each other. Three of the characters have been friends since they were kids, there’s some tension between two of them and they haven’t spoken for years - which adds to the angst and uncertainty of the story.

I like that all four guys have their own POV, however it was hard to follow at times since they weren’t that distinctive from each other. There is loads of chemistry between them and I appreciate that they take the time to explore it, as well as getting to know each other in different pairings. I would have liked to see more of them as a quad, there were a lot of scenes with two or three of them together, but not really as a foursome

I really liked their story, it made my heart happy and swoony!

It’s hard to find words for this story. I mean first off, it’s excellent of course @kmneuhold is incredibly adept at making a seemingly impossible love story believable. I won’t get into the logistics of this beautiful and complicated relationship but rest assured it felt natural and glorious. Each of the men, Riot, Leo, Hudson and the central Bishop (we know Hudson and Bishop from the previous book, Rocket Science) are complex, realistic and vibrant. Appropriate time is spent in the perspective of each man so the reader can understand and enjoy how their love grows and the relationships come together. Seriously a fantastic book!
