This was my first ever time reading a male POV chapter compilation. But I LOVED it. I enjoyed getting to see some more of the key moments from his point of view. I devoured this story. It is more than a retelling of things. We really get to see inside Colton’s head.

Crazy how Andy makes me cry every single time but this time it was because Colton finally took that last step. It was a beautiful moment!
I'm looking forward to read Aced but at the same time not really. Let's see how that one goes. (less)

Ich bin ein großer Fan der Driven Trilogie und wollte mich eigentlich schon an den vierten Teil machen, als ich gesehen habe, dass es auch noch einen Zwischenband gibt. In diesem Ebook geht es darum wie Colton Donovan das erste Mal auf Rylee trifft und auch ein paar weitere Szenen, die aus seiner Sicht geschrieben ist.
Zwischen jedem Kapitel aus seiner Sicht gab es auch kurze Kommentare von der Autorin, die einen ein noch besseren Einblick in die Trilogie und auch in Colton gibt.
Ich fand Colton schon immer unglaublich interessant und auch hier wird seine Art sehr gut rübergebracht. Seine Zerissenheit und seine Handlungen, die einen mit dem Kopf schütteln ließen. Man erfährt endlich wie er sich während ein paar Szenen aus den Büchern gefühlt hat. Es waren auch fast genau die Szenen, bei denen ich mich immer gefragt hat, was ihn dazu gebracht hat genau so zu handeln.
Es gibt aber nicht nur uns bekannte Szenen, sondern auch ein paar, die man noch gar nicht kannte und die einen weiteren Einblick in den Charakter von Colton gegeben hat. Zwischendurch hatte ich aber manchmal das Gefühl, dass es nicht der Colton war, den ich in den ersten drei Bändern von Driven kennengelernt habe.
Ich fand es zwar toll ein paar Szenen aus seiner Sicht zu lesen, aber richtig überzeugt hat mich der Zwischenband nicht. Trotzdem ein Muss für jeden Fan von Driven und von Colton Donovan.

I really loved reading all of these extra chapters in Colton’s POV. Some of the bromance moments between Colton and Beckett had me cracking up. A perfect addition to the series!!

After reading the Driven Series, this book completed it, to see parts of the story through Colton's eyes, and his thoughts complimented the rest of the books.
A well written POV that made you love Colton even more. This companion novella is a must-read for Driven fans. It shows not only the arrogant side of Colton, but also his vulnerable, tender, insecure and his sides as well.
