I like getting Cel’s pov this time - it adds a lot to the story. I think a 2nd book can make or break a series sometimes and this one really pushed it forward in a way that felt good. I liked the way we saw the plot advance and world evolve. Also it’s nice to see the slower development of relationships between characters, I am here for that!

the ending felt very rushed which led me to feel very confused, much like the first book

I loved this as much as book 1. So many twists and beautiful settings(I could see many of them in my head while reading). Not really a spoiler but I ADORE Arlo and Nausicaä’s relationship!

I had a hard time finishing this book. I hate how naïve one of the main characters was. She could see though the lies of the antagonist and no one tried to help. It just felt so forced. And I was really had to read.
