A massively long book that didn't feel like it was taking a long time to read. The characters are all interesting and loveable in their own ways. And I liked the quiet background plot, I'm curious to see where that goes.

I was reading this book more because I wanted to find out what was going to happen at the end and not because I wanted to experience the journey with the characters. So I felt like it dragged a bit and I was getting frustrated at how teasing the author was being, hinting at big events that were going to happen way later on. Imagine my surprise when I got to the end and found out there's two more books coming out months and months from now! It was a frustrating read but I was hooked.
