sign this book felt like a long continuation of the second one. Not in the sequel way, more of they do similar actions and it felt like the plot was either going nowhere or being thrust into your brain.

Great Book 2 In The Series

This book picked up right where the first one left off. It was a great sequel and built upon the first book. I really enjoyed the story and especially the way the interactions between the main character and the planet. Highly recommend this book.

This book was slower than the first of the series but still enjoyable. I love the world and the characters Cole created. They’re rich and complex and interesting. I found this a little hard to follow at times because there’s just so much going on. I really enjoyed the ending even though I expected the outcome.

I liked this a little better than the first. We got to see more of the planet, the mystery aspects were more compelling. Ultimately though, it's not a series for me and I don't think I will continue.

This was SUCH a good, must faster-paced, follow up to the first book. I'm so glad more of Faloiv was explored and explained. This is pretty much exactly where I had hoped this book would go in terms of world building and exploring. The big reveals of the human colonists history of Faloiv were a bit undercooked in my opinion, after everything that had happened in the rest of the story it all seemed a bit obvious, but despite that it still flowed with the story well enough to not be too distracting. I'm really sad the third book hasn't been picked up for publication yet though! This ending is even more of a cliff hanger than book 1 ahhhh

I could do a better review but this took me so long to read because at some point it just started dragging and dragging. Long and the short of it is: loved the first one, hated the second, not very excited for the third.

I waited two days to review this book so I could really think about it. The world building in this series is just amazing. The depth of the story and the connections made between the planet and all the lifeforms on it is so interesting. Octavia is a well-planned character who stayed true to herself throughout. I would recommend this series to pretty much anyone!
