Back on form after the disappointment of Book 20. Not the best but getting better.

This book took a while to get through, at least that's how it felt. Not Child's best.

There is a very disturbing scene in a club.

Very disappointing. Do not waste your time. A very thin plot, few "Reacherisms"....... I finished reading this book because it is Jack Reacher. I would not have been able to rate this book in my reading log as I would have given it a DNF-DNC rating. Did not finish - did not care.

I like to read a Jack Reacher book a year to reset my brain from the usual make you think fiction I read. The Reacher novels are always fun, fast paced and entertaining. This one accomplished all of that as usual.

Not as good as the last few Reacher books, but good overall. It was nice change of pace to show Reacher in the military. Also, nice to see him do things his way, even when told to do one thing a certain way.

Felt like a movie script, which I fear with new Reacher books based upon the success of the movies. The other thing I didn't like was the ability for things to correctly happen. Reacher makes some guesses and surprise they come through. This was a bit on the dry side. I wish that things weren't so cut and dry for him.
