3.5 Stars. Definitely liked it. But it didn't blow me away either. There was a little too much football lingo for me too.

I hope you have your dentist on speed dial, as Most Valuable Playboy is so darn sweet it will give you a toothache!
I am a sucker for a friends-to-lovers story, and Cooper and Violet's is just adorable. Or as it is written in the books "ridiculously adorable".
There are a few more pressures on our lovelies, seeing as Coop is in the public eye, but that just makes it even more cute and sweet.
And that is what their story is. Cute and sweet. There is no dramas, no big reveals, no big OMG WTF moments. It just... was.
I adore both Coop and Vi. There is something about knowing each other so long that just made their relationship a bit more.
I loved the flirting and banter between our lovelies, and there is a lot of build up to sexy times, you just know they will get there eventually.
I LOVED the other Renegades players, and I really am jonesing for more about Jones.
This light and cute read was just what this girl needed after reading a few darker, angsy books lately.
Can't wait to see what Ms Blakely bring us next (please be Jones! I will bribe you with Tim Tams if required!!)

What can I say......Lauren is one of those authors you can rely on to give you a definite must read! Cooper and Violet were amazing, their story was a swoon-worthy, fun, sexy read that had me captivated through the entire read! A definite one click must read!
I loved everything about this book! I used every single free moment I had to read this. I even abandoned work responsibilities to devour this book. It was entertaining. Funny as hell. So darn adorable and heart warming. Even though it was done from the male MC POV, it was enough to make me happy. And the little tidbits of text messages from the female MC was enough to make me gobble up every page. Cooper Armstrong is having one hell of a season. His team is on a winning streak. And he is gunning to be the top contender at an annual charity fundraising auction. Slight problem is with the team owner's handsy sister, who thinks she can have a piece of him. But who comes to his rescue? His best friend's little sister, Violet. Violet was just awesome. She rolled with the punches. Was so sweet and understanding. And I was rooting for her the whole way. Would have loved to get her POV but the style of the book and the little clues here and there were enough. And the two of them together? Sweet baby Jesus and all the angels above. Lauren Blakely brought the heat. Did she ever. My word. Be prepared to fan yourself and wonder why there aren't more guys out there in the world like Cooper Armstrong.
This book is another testament to why Lauren Blakely is one of my favourite authors. I am so looking forward to reading the other books in this series.

This books is a no in my opinion. Will never read again bye
never let me attempt to read sports romances that aren’t about hockey ever again. i’m a HUGE hockey fan (let’s go avalanche!), so it was absolutely dreadful to try to get through all the football references. i skipped all the parts that weren’t romantic/smutty, so i really can’t give this anything higher than 2 stars i feel. it’s not entirely bad by any means though. the parts i did read i liked enough. i’ll definitely return to a few of those scenes if you know what i mean
3.25 or 3.5
i love football and i love the friends to lovers/fake dating tropes so i was enjoying the book quite a bit until it became too cheesy, some sentences made me cringe a little and i didn't need two epilogues but i guess it was okay and the audiobook performance was good
