This was so sweet. I immediately suspected that Violet had liked him since she was younger.
I wish he would’ve figured out he liked her when he was in like highschool but he did make up for that by telling her he loved her- in front of the media might I add.
Their start might have been ‘fake’ but there’s no denying that chemistry.
I really did think that maybe they would have like a 3rd act breakup but I’m so glad they didn’t- and that it was only a blip for a sec.

Another read by Lauren Blakely that I have loved! Childhood crush romance combined with sports romance and fake dating was a great combination! Cooper and Violet were so cute together and the fact that they had both been crushing on each other forever was too adorable. I liked that this book was different to most others that I’ve read lately in the it was all from one point of view for the whole book as it really gave depth to Cooper. I would definitely recommend this read to others

I don't mind a sports romance even though they're very formulaic. However, things I am sick of are the whole manwhore thing and then he's reformed (I don't buy that) and I also hate the miscommunication/lack of communication trope. Just talk to each other...arghhh...grr.

There wasn't really much chemistry with the FMC and MMC. It wasn't really believable. I didn't even feel like the MMC had chemistry with his friends!
