I've never fully understood the Austen fanatics (ever since that summer I chained myself to "Pride and Prejudice") but this wasn't so painful to read. I think I laughed out loud at a few points (You SERIOUSLY think Louisa died because she jumped down a step?) and can't say I'm now infatuated by Austen but no longer harbor any animosity toward her books. Heck, I might even read another! They ARE free for my Kindle...
