Es una historia difícil de leer. Tuve que parar en varias ocasiones. Me resulta inimaginable el dolor de Sylvia Plath. Creo que el primer párrafo del texto transmite exactamente lo que será el resto del libro

I love everything this woman wrote. Sylvia Plath was truely ahead of her time and I wish she could know how many women and men have been greatly impacted by her amazing work. The bell jar is THE depressed-teenage-girl-book, but in a good way!
Note: Don‘t read this when you are feeling sad or having an existential crisis questioning your life choices.

i really loved it. i could see myself in esther and her mistakes so i felt very maternal over her and may have liked her more than others who find her to be cynical and as asshole

I haven't read a single book in such a long time and this was such a great book to dive into the world of reading again. It's been a day or so since I finished reading it and I can't still wrap my head around everything that has occur in this book.
It was such a captivating book I must say. The descriptions were immaculate and the plot kept me on my toes. I loved Sylvia Plath used flashbacks and seemingly simple events to let us know more about Esther and understand her more as a whole. And how she described Esther's deteriorating mental health and later on, her recovery. It didn't seem all of a sudden. We all saw where Esther was heading to.
Overall, love this book. One of my new favorites indeed. Will definitely read this again although I don't think this book is for everyone.
