This is a well-produced book, with broad coverage of a wide range of woodland topics, including crafts and woodland management. Ben is clearly very passionate about living the "woodland way", and that comes through very clearly in his writing. My slight disappointment is that the breadth of the book means that the subjects don't get a very in-depth treatment. The book does a great job of whetting the appetite for a range of woodland topics, but you'll need to go elsewhere for detailed instruction (or, better, go on a course).
