Oof. Badass female rockstar meets tough as nails body guard? Yes. Please.

Iris is a total badass, but she is having some privacy issues when her home is broken into and vandalized. When the lead of her record label finds out he requires her to get a body guard. In comes Ronan, the hottie she met at the dog park and stood up when she came home to find her home destroyed.

The heat is on from the beginning and Ronan is having a hard time staying professional, while Iris is having a hard time giving up the reins and allowing someone else be in charge of protecting her.

The heat just turns up at our two main characters can’t fight the pull any longer until they finally catch the people who broke into Iris’ home and Ronan practically begs to be fired so they can jump into something more serious.

But alas! That was not the only threat to our tattooed heroine, when notes and photos start showing up at her home Ronan and Iris butt heads on the best way to keep her safe. They are both prideful and having a hard time coming to a compromise.

The spice is

Omg this book is worth way more than 5*s.
Iris is the lead singer with a rock band and she lives her life as she wants to. When she first meets Ronan the chemistry between them is off the charts but he isn't her usual type.
When her apartment is trashed and she needs a bodyguard Ronan is hired to protect her.
I loved their push and pull while he was trying to protect her. Iris needs her independence but Ronan needs to protect her.
This is an absolute must read full of suspense and drama and so much emotion and love but can they get their HEA with a stalker after her.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Iris and Ronan are meant for each other. Only problem is Iris is a rock star and Ronan is her bodyguard. They try to keep their relationship professional, but there is still so much passion. I will continue to read all of Julia Wolf's books!

It was really good, Iris was alot of fun and I love a good bodyguard story. I especially loved the fire between Iris and Rowan, the spicy scenes were so good.

Unexpected

Falling in Reverse is nothing like what I expected, and that’s exactly why I loved it. I gave it 5 stars because i genuinely fell in love with the story and the characters by the end of it. It is what you want a stand alone book to be. The story is well thought out, no loose threads at the end, a lovely happy resolution and no random plot points that don’t get resolved. I didn’t think the story would end up where it did but I was pleasantly surprised. The possessive man who messes things up and the miscommunication trope show their heads BUT they actually get worked through and make the story better for it. Can’t wait to read more from this author.
