A wonderful short collection of poems by Sappho, an Ancient Greek woman. It loses a bit of enjoyment when the poetry has been translated (original was in Ancient Greek), but the translation was done beautifully as the poems were still beautiful.
Note to self: I read this book solely via a physical book.

I declare
That later on,
Even in an age unlike our own,
Someone will remember who we are.

This small collection served its purpose: introducing me to Sappho. I read everything out loud twice and fell in love, but these pages only scratched the surface. It was a glimpse of the lake I might someday drown inside.
