This was a pretty good read! I prefer Riordan's two Greek series but these are good as well. It's action packed and a fun adventure although lacking in depth. A great book for adolescents though! It hints that there will be more books focusing on the Kane siblings and maybe even a series where Riordan's Greek and Egyptian series intertwine, we'll see! Definitely a fun, adventurous summer read!

Months later and we finally finished the series. My ten year old and myself quite enjoyed this fun series. Percy Jackson is still my favorite, but Sadie and Carter were a lot of fun.
This was a very well done finale. Riordan tied up loose ends in a very satisfying way and still managed to open the door to possible new storylines -- and a crossover with the Heroes of Olympus.
excellent ending to this trilogy! i can't wait to read the crossovers
Quick thoughts:
1. A perfect ending for this story!
2. This book continues off the second book but is still it's own book.
3. The characters got to actually work with the gods.
4. Still lots of action!
5. A quick and relaxing read.

It was an excellent end to the series. Also he hinted some future work combining his series,I'll be expecting something to come out soon.
