It took me a while to get into this book because it relies heavily on the prior books. I read the other books when they first came out so it had been close to a year or so since I read them and I struggled trying to remember what happened and who was who.

This book is very action packed from beginning to end. I feel like I learned a lot of things about the Egyptian culture that I didn't already know. People of all ages will enjoy this book. Rick Riordan has an amazing way of getting you wrapped up into a world that you can't experience anywhere else. I highly recommend this book!

Just another fabulous Riordan adventure. The ending does make me wonder about what he's up to, what he has got planned...

I was a little disappointed. It always frustrates me when the characters in a book are just a little bit stupid and they don't see the obvious. This book had a lot of that. The last battle was a disappointment to me.
