Huh.
I keep waiting for this series to get interesting, but 2 volumes in I'm still not feeling much of anything. Fights are pretty bland and unimpressive, as the art doesn't do a very good job of capturing a sense of momentum, and I *really* hate the mid-fight power exposition—JJK just isn't campy or cerebral enough to pull it off. Characters are meh (I dislike how tropey the side characters are), worldbuilding is uninteresting, and man I wish it could just choose if it wants to be silly or serious, because the awkward balance it's trying to strike here is just not working.

Ryomen Sukuna beats the special grade and eats the finger it had; Also takes out Yuji's heart to 'hold him hostage' and keep him from forming back
Tsukumi?-past with Megumi (cursed but saved her??)
Yuji was able to turn back and thus died

Ijichi and Gojo discussing how the higher ups played a role in leading them to a special grade; Gojo wanting to change the system through education (u go dude!)

-sets up a binding vow to let Sukuna be in charge for a minute after saying Enchain (can't kill ppl) and Yuji can't remember the vow
Gojo gives Yuji the task of watching movies with a doll principal made to work out his curse energy
-gets attacked by cyclops curse (Jogo)
-using Limitless Cursed Technique- infinity space between them to avoid attacks?

-weirdo possibly misogynistic vibes
He mentions in the author section at the end how there was a mishap when drawing a couple for their wedding and he drew her bigger than she was. Then he started drawing women with less thicker legs since he realized that 'women can be much more fit than I previously thought'. But like...people come in various shapes and sizes. And you're allowed to draw that y'know. Not just stick to one way people look.
