I could have done without reading this one. Boring and at times annoying - had I realised a tort lawyer were the guys on the radio that boil my blood saying 'have you had an accident that wasn't your fault?' I'd have definitely given it a miss. None of the characters are particularly likeable and the end seemed rushed. Not a fan.

Every time I see a class action commercial on the tv I think of this book. Not only an excellent and we'll told story, but provides a window on an out of control system. I read this through books on tape and the actor was excellent.

There's some outrage at the system here, as you expect from Grisham, and some smooth tale-telling, but I was anticipating something a little more over-the-top entertaining, maybe something flashier in the characters than was here. Not a bad Grisham entry though.

This one started out strong but the ending really made me cringe. I didn't feel the ending suited the story at all. I also felt that there was more that the main character could have done to make himself believable.
The novel wasn't one of John Grisham's best but I still enjoyed it.

This is my #2 Grisham, but The Pelican Brief will always be #1

I'm so embarrassed that I picked up another one. I just couldn't sleep, and John Grisham is just so simple and predictible. Don't judge. My vacation is almost over and then I will be back to the library and away from anything written by John Grisham.
