you ever come across a author that quickly becomes an instant buy author for you? giana darling is that for me, and let me tell you she n e v e r lets me down. beautiful nightmare is just another beautiful story of hers that I will long cherish. I loved seeing this love story come to a happily ever after, these characters deserved it so much. seeing more of each character and seeing them develop throughout this book was an amazing sight to see. tiernan made all the character developments i hoped he would, it was so amazing to see his soft side. for such a hard exteriored man it was a beautiful site to see his ooey gooey center when it came to those he loved. bianca grew into her self like I knew she could, the first book showed me her strength but this book really blow that out of the water. we love to see a strong, smart, cunning women who uses her bad assness for good. Overall this duet was amazing, and I will be added book two too my collection of giana favs of mine.

"Whoever would have guessed that my nightmare would be the best dream I'd never thought to hope for."

Beautiful Nightmare continues right where the first book left off. While the first book was on the slower side, this book kicked it up a notch with its action, story-telling, character growth, mystery, suspense, and more!

"I’ve made you bleed since the moment I met you, but now I’m bleeding without you."

Speaking of character growth, the way that Bianca starting shedding her younger persona into that of a woman, even at her age, spoke volumes of the author's writing. In the first book we see a naive Bianca, but in this sequel, we see a scheming mastermind that will throw many curveballs no one is prepared for.

"He was this contradiction only my heart could decipher. A lovely monster. A beautiful nightmare."

As we know, Tiernan Morelli is a villain through and through. His hands have seen more blood than a hospital blood bank. He's never cared for anything--he was created to basically be a robot--until Bianca and her brother Brandon. The change that Tiernan did from the first book to this one is astronomical. He would do absolutely anything and everything for Bianca.

"I was raised in violence and I love to speak its language. Would you like to see how fluent I am in blood and fury?"

One thing that always gets me weak in the knees is when a villain like Tiernan Morelli--someone who bows down to no one--gets on his knees for the woman he loves and worships her in the best way possible. 😏

"You want to see me beg for your forgiveness, Bianca? I'll do it on my knees between your thighs and by the time I'm through with you, you won't remember anything but pleasure."

I adored the relationship that Brandon has with Tiernan and with The Gentleman. Brandon's admiration for Tiernan is something else. This little guy will grip your heart until you cry your eyes out. I would have loved to see more interactions between him and "Tiernanny", but the little I got soothed my heart.

"I knew you guys would end up together, you know. The heroes always end up together in the comic books."

Overall, Beautiful Nightmare is a page-turning and stunning conclusion to the Dark Dreams duet and a wonderful addition to the Midnight Dynasty universe.

"I've done countless things in my life that I should not have done, but loving you is the best mistake I ever made."

4.5 stars This picks up right where Dangerous Temptation left off and there's barely time to catch your breath. Tiernan and Bianca's relationship might be fractured, but the connection is still there, no matter how hard they try to fight it. There's a wee bit more tension in this one because not only is Tiernan fighting for Bianca, but he's fighting for himself. This is more fast paced than DT, and I loved how much the relationships of all kinda develop in this one. I also loved to see the relationship between Tiernan (and the rest of the Gentlemen) and Brando. It's real cute. I feel like the HFN we got with this couple is the perfect conclusion to this duet. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.

I don’t think I’ve ever highlighted more in a book than I did with Beautiful Nightmare! After leaving on the cliffhanger of Dangerous Temptation, I needed to know how Bianca and Tiernan’s story ended. And these two did NOT disappoint! I love how they both worked separately to get rid of the obstacles standing in their way. Tiernan was an absolute heart (and panty) melter this whole book, he just hit with line after line of gold! Could he have groveled a little bit more? Probably… But he proved himself by the end in my eyes. Bianca stood up for herself and what she wanted and I feel like her character really shoved that you can be soft and caring, without being weak. And the spicy moments between these two was off the charts! The plot, the suspense, the smut, everything about this book and duet sucked me in and was truly amazing. Loved this age gap, guardian/ward romance! Thank you Valentine PR for the ARC!
