Oh man was this book so good it was hard to put down once I started reading it. This is Bk2 in Tiernan and Bianca's crazy love life of the Backstabbing Morelli's and Constantine's mercy do they know how to stir up trouble. Bianca is staying in the Constantine compound after she found out what Tiernan had done all this girl has wanted is to be a part of her fathers side of the family is that not asking for much, but the more time she's there she's missing her brother and of course Tiernan, but she's figuring out that Caroline is needing her for something why else would she be playing niceties. Hmmm what could it be? Tiernan is just wanting her to come back and to forgive him. He's catching all these feels for her, can it be too late? Can he convince her to come back? I'll never tell lol. This book so had many twists and turns and truth revealings. If you read Bk1 then you need to read this one. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Nightmare is fabulous second book of Tiernan and Bianca’s troubled relationship and it was full of intense scenes, evil men and women, but with a ribbon of hope.
Tiernan has done some really bad things for Bryant, his father, to his siblings and anyone else that his father points a finger at.
Bianca just wants to have a family and belong to a group of people who accept her and Brando for who they are.
That ending was spectacular but I need more!
The Constantines and the Morelli’s have been battling for decades, I don’t think that will ever change unless this new generation steps up and changes it.

This conclusion to Teirnan and Bianca's story was so packed full of emotion. It's hard to understand how families can be ruled by lies, deception and lifelong animosity. There is no room for love, compassion and warmth.

Teirnan finally finds something that calms the monster inside his chest and that is Bianca and Brandon. He lets himself believe there is more to life then hate and revenge.

All Bianca's life she longed to met and be accepted by her father's family. What she gets is nothing like her young girls heart had hoped for, but she has had to grow up fast and hard, so she's ready to take on their deceit with a little of her own.

The only thing that would have made this book better for me was full on death of a tyrant... I will leave it a that so I don't give anything away.

Bravo and I'm sitting here in my mind creating a story for Beckett, inside my own head, where it is all love, family and acceptance.

3.5 stars
Beautiful Nightmare is the action-packed, passion-filled conclusion to Tiernan and Bianca’s whirlwind romance. I enjoyed this one. Secrets, revenge, age gap, mafia, Giana Darling definitely kept my attention.

The character arcs had to be my favorite part of this book. We got to see many different sides to both. Tiernan in particular. Dare I say, he showed a softer, more compassionate side. Don’t get me wrong. He’s still every bit the "touch what’s mine and I’ll end you" alpha we met in book one. And he still radiated raw intensity. I was just drawn more to his vulnerability. He made it very difficult not to fall for him especially after every interaction with Brando or his utter devotion to Bianca or his bond with his found family, The Gentlemen. I really liked this Tiernan.

As for Bianca. My feelings definitely wavered back and forth in the beginning. She would do things that reminded me oh yeah she’s just a young seventeen year old girl who makes questionable decisions. However, from about the middle on, I was a thousand percent team Bianca. I thought she was a fierce, determined warrior. I loved her tenacity and her resoluteness for answers. And of course her love for her brother.

Now, while I did enjoy Beautiful Nightmare, in comparison to Dangerous Temptation, it was a bit of a let down. Hence the 3.5 rating. I don't know how to explain it. I just didn't get that same "I'm desperate for this book" feeling. I wasn't wowed. That being said, I still think the Dark Dream Duet is worth a read.

Tiernan and Bianca are back and in this book, Bianca has some serious character growth and makes a master plan to figure out Caroline Constantine’s true motive to take Bianca under her wings. With careful planning and a lot of gut, Bianca finds out more about just who her real family is.
Teirnan has a huge life epiphany. Coming to the realization that his father will never love him, dealing with his childhood trauma, he makes a pact to end the cycle.
We see his brothers and him come together and learn to love eachother again. We get to see Tiernan fight for Brandon and Bianca. And learn to love himself too.

“My entire life had been filled with mystery and skeletons rattling around in closets. I was determined to bring them into the light once and for all, regardless of the consequences.”

There’s some definite plot twists.
Secrets come out and play.
I do wish we had an epilogue It showed us more into the future.
I felt like the ending was a bit rushed.
But overall it was a fantastic ending to these two characters. We get an HEA.

2.5 ✨ I just didn't like this as much as the first book. This felt very very rushed in places and so drawn out in others that I found myself skimming which I very rarely do. Anyway I was too nosey to give up so I had to finish it.
