I've never been happier to have finished a book. I wanted to DNF this one so badly, but since it was a Christmas present I'd requested, I gritted my teeth and sat through it until the end. It was a drag. I had high hopes, but reading it felt like a chore.

This book was really cosy. I loved the first half of the book more than the end.

In the end it felt like after 300 pages nothing really had happened. Yet I got attached really easily to the characters and I wish we would've know more about them.

Such a good book. I read this genre in Korea is known as healing fiction, someone breaking free from a conventional structure and working out a world view and life philosophy. Charming and subtle read but (hopefully) memorable.
