I can’t stop reading this series.

While this third book was an improvement on the second book, it still wasn’t great. The characters were definitely the highlight, and I love Cedar cove as a setting, but it felt like Debbie Macomber didn’t have a plot for the book, and so she brainstormed as many subplots as she could and went with all of them. The end result was a very disjointed book that was very boring in the first half and less boring in the second half. Oh, and Rosie and Zach still suck and are the worst couple in the series.
emotional lighthearted medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

I had a harder time getting into this one... Time to take a break from cedar cove I guess

This series is awesome!

Readable story about a variety of people in Cedar Grove, focusing on some of the relationships between some of the people in the town. You know that there are sequels and that there are more stories to be told.
