This was exactly what you think it will be: a depressing, but well-written and important book set during the Holocaust in WWII that’s based on a true story.

This book was a compelling read. Definitely a page turner for me. If you don’t want to read about specifics about the Holocaust, you have come to the wrong place. And if you expect a fully accurate telling, you have come to the wrong place. It is as accurate as makes sense and achieves what it set out to do: tells the beautiful love story of a man and woman who met under horrible circumstances. Definitely a page turner.

Olvidable.
