Definitely not my favorite by Malmborg. I feel like his books are usually more twisted. I did like the story, sad that Michelle ended up dying. Just feel like there could have been more, just seemed like everyone died.

Santa Took Them was unfortunately not for me. The plot was slow and the characterisations were inconsistent. Other characters were introduced organically as the plot progressed, but there wasn’t enough detail as to who they were and how they fit in with the town, which became very confusing. The dialogue was also fast paced, but this added even more confusion as it was often difficult to tell which character was saying what.

Another great book!

I think this is the fourth book of his I read and I’ve enjoyed them all. There’s something about his writing that seems almost catered to young adults but the subject matter is pretty horrific. I thought it was really cool that there’s small link to his first novel, Jimmy. At least we k ow it’s in the same universe. Again, I definitely recommend it as it’s a killer page turner with a great reveal.
