okay, wow. what a wonderful portrayal of marriage and sacrifice. I can’t believe Nancy is real. The power she wielded with her love, red lipstick, and sailor’s mouth…the lives she saved…the lives she lost…she is truly a hero with the resolve to never consider herself one.

UGH my heart. World war 2 novel based on a real life story… I wish I would’ve realized Nancy was a real woman at the beginning of the book, because I realized about halfway through and it totally changed my perspective. The book itself had a great mix of romance and action. Loved it!!
