I love a good historical fiction. This is the story of Nancy Wake, aka The White Mouse, who was French Resistance leader in WWII. Entertaining and informative. I didn’t love the story format as much, going back and forth to present time and pre-war. I felt that it made it a little slow. But it didn’t stop me from enjoying the book.

so much of this book (FOR ME) could’ve been cut. half the things I was interested in her doing were off-screen to feature her great romance with her husband—which, while nice, is not something I wanted to read RPF of…? I would have LOVED this as a movie, but I am just very much not the audience for this type of novel and I wish I’d’ve just read her autobiography instead
