I liked the book, but I still wanted more from it. Trying to understand the Fae rules and guidelines is another confusion, but I want to know the secrets that lie within Dahila.
The book had amazing detail and story building/world building, and those factors helped keep my interest in the book.
Some spicy tension is in the book but not any actual spice, so hopefully the next couple books make up for that factor.

I’m confused… I don’t even fully understand what’s going on (no one is able to give a straight answer and miscommunication seems to be the only trope here).

This book is fun. It needs a bit of editing as there were a few typos but it wasn't distracting at all. This was a quick read as the story kept me captivated and there's less than 300 pages in the book. I enjoyed the world building that was done and that you jump right into the story. (Ie: the 'kidnapping' part isn't halfway into the book) I'm looking forward to continuing the journey and seeing how some of the questions that arise in this opening act are answered.🙂
